The first event of the Salisbury History Festival took place last night at the Old Ale House, Salisbury. A packed audience were treated to a presentation by Simon Jackson on ‘The History of Beer’, followed by a guided walk on ‘The Lost Pubs of Salisbury’ hosted by Timezone Tours, delicious burgers and chips back at the Old Ale House and more…. It really got the festival off to a great start. Our thanks go to Liz and her staff at the Artisan Wine Shop, all at the Old Ale House, Simon Jackson, Timezone Tours, Spencer Mulholland, Annette Beverage and everyone who came!
